Meet Dr. Alia Paquette
Dr. Alia Paquette, a Newberg, Oregon native, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Osteopathy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2011. Her DO training emphasized holistic medical science and healing touch, with over 200 hours of osteopathic manipulative medicine integrated into her medical education. She completed her residency with Legacy Health Services in Portland, becoming board certified in Internal Medicine in 2014.
Over the next decade, Dr. Paquette ran a busy internal medicine practice at Legacy Bridgeport Clinic, with a focus on women’s health, chronic pain management, and care for patients over 60. She maintained her passion for osteopathic manipulative medicine, offering drug-free pain management to her patients, particularly those who had lost hope in finding relief.
A personal health crisis in 2020 deepened her empathy for patients and reshaped her career goals. Inspired to explore the brain's role in health, she became certified in MAP neural retraining therapy, focusing on empowering the subconscious mind to promote healing, relieve trauma, and reduce pain.
Dr. Paquette now opens Repose, a wellness center and medical spa, where she blends hands-on therapy, internal medicine, and mental health support to heal the body from the inside out. She is committed to helping patients from all walks of life.
In her free time, Dr. Paquette enjoys life on her farm with her partner and their three sons, indulging in reading, cooking, hiking, and continuous learning.
Meet Dr. Janet Paquette
Dr. Janet Paquette (Jan) earned her Nursing Degree from Olympic College in Bremerton Washington, Undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Washington and her Degree in Medicine (MD) from Chicago Health Sciences University. She completed her Internship in Surgery (focusing on General and Plastic Surgery) followed by her Residency in Emergency Medicine at OHSU in Portland Oregon. Her board certification and the majority of her career was in Emergency Medicine.
Over her many years in the emergency department, her interest in plastic surgery continued, and she often used her skills in the aesthetic closure of traumatic wounds. That experience led her to the relatively new field of Aesthetic Medicine. She began training in aesthetics and 12 years ago she, with her husband John (a medical Assistant and Permanent Cosmetic Artist) and her daughter Erienne (a Certified Advanced Esthetician), opened Mode MD, a Medical Aesthetic Spa and Wellness Center, in Newberg Oregon. In early 2024, her daughter, Dr. Alia Paquette, also joined this family endeavor, training in Aesthetics and expanding her Internal Medicine degree and her Wellness Program.
Now, this revitalized group joins Alia as she establishes Repose Wellness Center and Medical Spa in Dundee Oregon. Together, we provide a broad spectrum of medical, mental health, aesthetic and cosmetic care committed, to offering health, healing and radiance from the inside out.
In her free time, Jan delights in all that attends a large and loving family of 6 children and 13 grandchildren. She actively pursues her many other interests; gardening, cooking , writing haiku to name only a few. She seeks always to expand her knowledge and her world.
